The Creative Team

Connie is a visual artist and graphic designer from Edmonton, Alberta. She is a professional artist and graduate (with distinction) of University of Alberta Extension, Fine Arts Certificate Program, and has shown her work in many galleries. She also has an honours diploma in Graphic Design and has been creating branding packages, logos, printed materials and websites since 2019 with a focus mainly on supporting other artists, yoga instructors and studios, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

Connie held a leadership role in the engineering profession as a civil engineering technologist and used her artistic innovation and drawing skills to assist in many engineering projects. Her ability and passion for working out complex designs and putting them in a digital space with an artistic flair is the lethal combination that led her to what was the logical next step – Graphic Design!

While working more than full time in the engineering profession, Connie completed her Fine Arts Certificate and also the intensive training to become a yoga instructor. She has taught yoga for eighteen years and in that time, learned a lot about running a small business as a yoga instructor. She no longer teaches yoga classes, but remains well connected within the yoga community.

Connie’s dream job is one that enables her to create digital art for those who want to make this world a better place – who want to help others with the products or services they provide.

Yoga instructors, artists, first-time local small business owners and not-for-profit organizations struggle to get by. It’s Connie’s vision to see them be successful in their endeavours. Hiring a graphic designer to help with a business’s essential branding and promotion can be very expensive.
